PROJECTED AIDS IN TEACHING
DEFINITION
Audio
visual aids are anything by means of which learning process may be encouraged
through or carried on through the sense of hearing or sense of sight
Audio
visual aids assist a teacher in providing suitable learning experiences to the
learners so as to help them acquire new information more effectively
CLASSIFICATION OF AV AIDS

aids can be broadly classifies into two types based on their operation

PROJECTED AIDS
Projected
visual aids are pictures shown upon a screen by the use of a certain machine
Film
projector on a wide screen using a film projector is typical example

Film strips and film strip projector

SLIDE PROJECTOR

to be drawn on the black board can be developed as slides.

enlarged and projected on a screen as a real image

One strip may contain 10-15 picture frames

The pictures may be black or white

Audio Visual Aids are very useful for
the teaching process.Audio visuals are great tools to catch the audience
attention.It is important to use variety of teaching methods for students with
varying preferences.
